SCCA had Regional (local) races and National races (where more competitive drivers came to compete and to gain an invitation to the year ending Championship "Runoffs"). In the vast middle part of the US there were somewhere around 10-12 National races each season. Dave won many of those races (beating me several times - even on my home track).

Dave never won the Championship Runoffs.

I owned the car after Dave and after Daryl in an attempt to find it a good home. I obviously failed as it has taken 15? years to get it into the hands of someone wanting to get it back on track.

Contact me. I am in St. Louis, MO (close) and have 10,000 Datsun 1200 race parts in my shop (along with half a dozen cars).

Guys,
I have to sell some of the parts on my shelves. I have nearly 10,000 Datsun A-series engine parts in my shop.

Sets of (4) good used, but not damaged, 77mm wedge dome race pistons. Includes pistons and pin, but not new rings. [Rings are easy to find through motorcycle sources.]

Some sets are Cosworth; Venolia; JE, and some are Wiseco. Each set of (4) pistons will be a matching set.

Price is $75 USD for the piston set plus (regrettably) $75 USD now for the shipping. TWO sets (8 pistons) will fit in that size box, so free shipping on the second set. TWO sets shipped to you would only be $225 USD.

I take PayPal. Please contact me by email. PeterZekert "at' juno D0T C()M

Unfound damage & refunds: What if you get a set of pistons home and find some unknown damage that makes one piston unusable? If it is a piston type that I have more of, send me a photo of the damage and I will send you a replacement pistons or another matching set of (4). Otherwise I will have to refund your payment. I try not to send broken pieces, but it happens.

Thanks, Peter

LOOKING for a GTLite Foster Driver for a USA Datsun 210 race car. [Foster Driver pays ZERO rent, but must take care of the car, race it and someday return it in good condition.]

Datsun 210 pro built for Robert Yashika of Datsun Comp days. Purchased at Atlanta SCCA Championship Runoffs by David Walsh, later sold and raced by Harry Chilcot, then sold back to Walsh. [Walsh later built a tube car and won GT5.] Stored inside in a dry race shop. This is a tub car that can win Runoffs - even today. Finished 2nd 4 times.

Back in the paint scheme that Robert Yashika ran in.

Car is currently in a race shop in Atlanta, Georgia USA. Needs engine installed, headers and radiator installed. [I will provide all parts.] Serious? I am, as I have lent out numerous race cars. Contact me. I own it (along with 5-6 other GTLite cars scattered around the USA.)

Want to come race a season in the USA? That could be arranged too.

Email is best.
Peter

I am looking for a right front fender (wing) and a right door for a 1971-73 Datsun 1200 coupe in the USA.

Send me an email if you have some panels that I can put on an old race car. [Or if you have contacts in Puerto Rico to buy new fenders.]

thank you,
Peter

Yes, it is me, Peter Zekert (pjz).

The Craigslist ad has brought me several Datsun 1200 lovers in the middle of the USA, including interested drivers from my city. One driver would like to replace the fiberglass fenders and right door with steel panels; give it a good paint job and prepare it for a big vintage race here. It will be raced in April.

Hello,

I have a set of (4) matched 121.5mm Carillo con rods, with (4) Arias 74mm race pistons. Early A12 +1mm overbore and the rod length of the early A12 engines. The pistons are wedge dome but do NOT have the underside of the dome machined. So, THEY CAN BE MADE INTO FLAT TOP PISTONS. EASILY.

$500 USD plus shipping. These came out of a running engine and are complete as removed.

Set #1: (8) aluminum pushrods out of a competitors engine. 150mm overall length (including the pushrod cup), with an effective length of 147mm. Slightly shorter than stock A12 pushrods. $50/set of (8) plus shipping.

Set #2: (10) chrome moly 3-piece pushrods. [They are made to order by our pushrod manufacturer.] 146mm overall with effective length of 142.5mm. $50/set of (10) plus shipping.

Set #3: (7) chrome moly 3-piece pushrods plus an extra long pushrod. [They are made to order by our pushrod manufacturer.] 148mm overall with effective length of 144.5mm. I WILL INCLUDE ONE (1) MORE LONGER PUSHROD FROM THE SAME MANUFACTURER THAT CAN BE SHORTENED TO MATCH. Very easy to shorten. $50/set of (8) plus shipping.

Email is the easiest for me to work with.

1971-1973 Datsun 1200 (B110) to Datsun 240Z front brake conversion. Very common for Datsun 1200s raced in the USA in the 1980s. This is from the How to Modify Your Datsun 1200 book published by Datsun Competition.

These are left overs from several 1200s race here in the USA. Includes (3) good used 240Z rotors on custom hubs; (3) custom aluminum hubs; (2) struts that have the caliper adapter; and (2) calipers.

$100 USD plus shipping.

NOT READY TO BOLT ON!!!! You MUST use a new pair of 1200 struts as these are both LEFT SIDE. Fabrication is required to cut off the caliper adapters and weld them to new struts! It is not complex fabrication, but it is fabrication.

Over the next year I am going to start liquidating my Datsun 1200 inventory.

Hello,
SELLING ALL 73MM - 74MM USED RACE PISTONS

I have several sets of good used A12 wedge dome race pistons in 73mm; 73.5mm or 74mm. MOST have been lightened under the dome, so you cannot make flat top pistons out of them.

I have both 17.4mm piston pin and some 19mm piston pin size.

FOR SALE $75 USD per set of 4 pistons with pins.

International shipping from USA (except for Mexico and Canada) is $85 USD for a package of 1 set, or up to 4 sets of pistons. Mexico and Canada shipping is $65 USD.

Email is best. PeterZekert at JUN0 D0T C0M
