Does anyone know where to purchase a fuel filler neck hose for a 1971-1973 Datsun 1200? Are they available aftermarket? Does something else fit?
Thank you, Peter

Use the tightening specs for the bolt you are using. Early A12 head bolts have "12" on the head of the bolt and are not as good as the A14/15. The A14/15 bolts have a "13" on the head. The "13" are better. The "13" bolts will accept 54 lb-ft where the "12" bolts only 42 or 43 lb-ft. [Check the torque spec for "T" bolts.]
If using the ARP studs, follow the directions. ARP gives different tightening specs depending on if the nut/bolt uses ARP lube or something like motor oil.
I re-use "13" style head bolts if they are in good condition. Peter

Datrotor, I have used 175 lb, 200 lb and 250 lb springs in the rear of 1200 race cars. With these spring rates the car was fairly soft.
What are your front spring rates? Peter

I have (3) more GX cylinder heads for sale. Here in the US the GX heads were sold new to every racer. That's why I have sold so many. Most racers here in the USA would build several cylinder heads at one time.
Head A is 2.820" thick = 71.6mm. The intake seats are 41mm and the exhaust are 32mm. The intake ports are 31mm wide and the exhaust are 29mm wide. This is a professional ported head with bronze guides $300 USD. This is a bare head with guides and seats only. No valves.
Head B is 2.840" thick = 72.1mm. Intake seat = 40mm, exhaust seat = 31mm. Intake port 32mm wide; exhaust port 30mm wide. This is a bare head with seats only. No valves. This head has NO guides. $200 USD.
Head C is 2.810" thick = 71.4mm. Intake seat = 41mm, exhaust seat = 32mm. Intake port 31mm wide; exhaust port 28mm wide. This is a bare head with guides and seats only. No valves. This head has bronze guides. $200 USD.
Worldwide shipping is approximately $70 USD. I have shipped (2) together for about $110 USD.
John B of Australia has first choice of cylinder heads.

I have a grill for sale. One problem is that I do not know which Datsun it fits. The other problem is that I do not know how much to ask for it. [Lower grill below the plastic coupe grill.] Anyone know what it fits? Anyone need it? Chrome steel in good shape without dents.

Recommended rotor diameters are 10.25 to 11.50, with rotor thickness 0.75 to 0.810 inches. [To use these with 0.385-0.500 inch rotors you remove the spacer between the two caliper halves.]
10.25 rotors in either 0.75 or 0.810 inch are very inexpensive here. About $100 each new. Might cost $40 good used.
I think the piston diameters are 1-3/8 inch, but I will have to check. Peter
