He he, I've done something similar - taken off in 3rd gear in my Zed at a Hillclimb.
Thought I'd broken something.

Yeah, tidy burnout - left good marks.
Sounds great too - really angry.

Daily is a L28 powerd 260Z - great cruizer with heaps of stonk...
Currently working on my 1980 Sunny which
is going to be L16 powerd and used for a fast road car come under 1600cc club car.

Ahh, another Sunny owner going L series!
Top stuff!
Just fixing the bodywork on my sedan, to get it on the road.
Then comes the L16 or L18 with Stanza SSS 5-speed & Gazelle rear end.
Should be a heap of fun even on my tight budget...
