Ben, I've found if you use Permetex No. 3 (its a non-hardning, non-silicone sealent that you brush on) you shouldn't get any leaks - as long as you dont bash the seal in with a hammer. Use a peice of pipe the same Dia. to use as a drift to knock it in place.
With the Head Gasket, I use VHT copper coat (spray can) or Hylomar (spray can) - works really well.
With the other gaskets I use Permetex 'Ultra Blue' for things like sump/timing cover, & Permetex No.3 for the rocker cover.
As for the Manifold, dont use anything. Just put it on dry.

THAT was a fun night.
Managed a best of 1.17:45. And in doing so, I knocked 3 secs off my personal best!
Gotta love new pads & fluid...

Also, whatching Coop in front of me through the 'Goodyear' bridge complex with his LH front wheel half a foot off the track was an impressive sight...
Hopefully we get some photo's...

Ben, the only way this club could become a legit club would be to become a member of AOMC. Then we could get the CH plate sceam. But we would also have to have a Pres, sec, Tres, etc.

We need to somehow get this forum considered as a 'car club' - as I am planning to register my 1200 with Club CH plates - then I could drive it on public roads as part of a 'club function'.
How would we go about doing that?

Well done mate - but I'm surprised you couldn't find any Stanza/200B mounts...

A14Force, I have a L18 with twin SU's in my sunny & it'll rev out to (you decide teh currency) with out any problem.
It may be a factor (if your running the standard air cleaner box) that its not drawing in enought air. Try removeing the box or air cleaners see what happens...

Dang... Sounds like everyone had a great time. I must make it next time.

I, like Mad120y, had a 'maintenance' day on my Zed (NO, We are NOT the same person...) fixing bits & pecies etc. so I can run at Calder on the 31st...

See you guys on the next one!
