going out past ipswich on the Warregon Hwy in Queensland i did about 180 k/ph my needle on the speedo was about 3 centremeters past 160 k/ph..

no wind and a slight downhill..
just myself in the car.. a12 auto
no work done to it...

on the plate in the engine bay it has kb110 and 1200 coupe stamped in, but on the outside it says 120Y

i am just got myself a datsun 120Y Coupe and the number is kb110 is this anything special for a coupe or just the normal coupe number...

somewhere i was reading about the "excellent" datsuns.. is this one of them??

finally i have found a datsun coupe...

it is a 120Y '74 model coupe... a lightish green color.. runs well some spots of rust at the rear.
the front seats have a couple of little scratches in them.. A12 engine, manual.....
one dint only on the front right panel.. small size
it is at the local wreckers for $450 hopefully i can get this and i will egt it on monday.(if finances appove of this)

i am looking for a 1200, 120Y coupe or a sunny for a project car, i am only wanting the shell as it will get a complete overall of everything else..... good body condition minimal rust... if no takers than i might look at a ute..

in adelaide huh?? hmmmm might go for a morning cruze down there and scope the place out... anyway know how long of a drive it is from brisbane?!?!?!

so if the rules are the same i wont be legally able to get a sr20det cause it is over 1.8 turboed.....

what if i get a sr20de and bore it to like 2.3 regester it then get a turbo??? would it work being the only thing would be i get in #### if i have an accident or cops

what is the legally biggest engine you can put in a 1200coupe in turbo, twin turbo or n/a

ah cool thanks alot.... jus measured up the seats and i tell ya what.....

i hope that anyone that sits in the back seats are midgets cause there aint much room there... even with the stock seats

hey, i have an ole pulsar vectra year?? in my backyard and i was thinking of pulling the seats out of that to put in my datto as they are a ####load more comfy.... anyway do i just unbolt and bolt in the new rails??

if the dont have the same bolts holes do i just drill new ones???
