what does it cost roughly to get a head/block/both shaved... I'm thinkin my headgasket is blown, there's milky oil coming out the crankcase breather now and it misses and runs like 5hit at anything above idle.

this is in ACT (dont know how different it is from NSW) and it's to transfer rego.

I'm taking my new 120Y in for a rego inspection this week, and was wondering if the inspectors will pick out that its an a15 and not the a12 on the complience plate and knock it back because of that.

Is there a special process I'll have to go through to get it through?

Also there's been 3 or 4 things (emission controls) blanked off around the carbie, will I have to reconnect them all?

but it also leaks out of the block in 2 seperate places...have to get them fixed

I'll have to check again tomorrow but I'm pretty sure there's bubbles in my radiator, and it does blow water out of the overflow hose. i put this down to having a ####ty a12 radiator on an a15.
What differences in performance would i notice?

what are the symptoms of a blown head gasket?
I ask because my a15 has watery oil under the oil filler too, but not in the radiator or in the sump...

What I'm wanting to know is whether the 4age box is the same as the 2T/3T box (as in will the dellow kit fit?)

I dont really fancy getting a box off the shelf at the wreckers, good chance that I'd be up for a rebuild...costly
