I used to run my 100% stock A15 up to 6,000 rpm regularly. What you are experiencing is not normal.

I am running a Down Draft webber on it.

could it be caused on the diff?

or is it in the engine ?

Well i while ago in my VG Valiant, just recently bought her. i took some one for a test drive in her and showed him what she had.

i was followed by a copper for bout 10min but didnt know untill he pulled me over.

He told me that i can remember, 70 in a 60zone, 110 in a 70zone, 80 in a 70zone.

and when i turned my blinkers on, they both went off like hazards. but it never had hazards.. few wires were touchin each other.

The cop was nice and let me off, and was just explaining to me that if i ever get booked for speeding its my own fault!

I dont mind cops like that. or even the ones who book u for speeding. its there job.. but i hate the smart ass cops who just seem to want to pull u up cause the type of car ur driving or they think ur a young driver. and follow u..

my brother inlaw got pulled up in his datto, it a bit lowered and a nice paint job. it all stock stand.

the cop took 20min to look over the whole car and could only get no horn.

he goes to him, "what these 16's are they?"

brotherinlaw said.. "aahh noo there 14's"

tehre are good cops then dumb cops

Just something else, my A15 it redlines at 3,500. on the highway doing 100km it revs at 4,000.

Being stock standard i thought it was normal.

is this low revs ment to be ?

or could there be something wrong?
