Also, my mate has an immaculate 2 door sedan, hasn't been on road for a while, but plates were datsly in nsw if anyone remembers, he bought it off a granny.

I've got a complete CA18det loom, manual ecu, ignitor, afm and possibly some other stuff I don't need.

All in good working order.

If anyone is interested in the whole lot shoot me a PM. I'll be after $220.

Hey guys,
A few years later after starting to try and get these made, and being stuffed around by a few people, the stickers are finally made and ready the way I wanted them.

They are the exact measurements of the originals, minus the little clear plastic edging. They stick on the inside of the car and the fonts are exactly right to the orignal (the fonts are tricky as all the letters in the words are not identical).

Anyway, enough bullshit, here is a preview of the end product (lines are there just to limit copying of the fonts);

I got 200 made, sold about half so far.

Doubt I'll get anymore made as I'll have enough to do all my cars and keep a few spare, so if you want one buy one.

Postage costs;

$4.40 gets you an express post envelope type deal, guaranteed next business day delivery to most areas.

$3.20 gets a registered post envelope type deal and I think it's 4-6 business days.

PM me for bank details as I except direct deposit - if you are doing a deposit, put in your username or some defining word (not "datsun stickers").

Price - $7 each or $25 for 4 (as they come in strips of 4, I recommend buying 4 as you'll no doubt want a few spare).

How they look on a car;

Any questions please ask. Please email me or post here with any questions

cheers

Martin

That is some funny ####, that guy got owned. How dumb would you have to be, the datsun community isn't that big.

But come on, ugly moon discs, same number plates, colour and more importantly it looks like he used half the original photos from the other thread.

If anyone see's him around make sure you bitch slap the guy.

Removable front ends are a good idea if you do them properly so they retain their strength and rigidity (weld nuts, overlap the metal etc).

all non standard seats need to be engineer approved, even if you just adapt them onto the standard rails and attachment points.

Not in nsw, it's covered as an owner certified modification as long as you use the standard seat mounting hardware.

It's on the RTA NSW website under "owner certified modifications", actually here is the direct link to the document -> http://www.rta.nsw.gov.au/registratio ... odifications_nov_2007.pdf

You are on the right track, but I'd consider using a new nissan ecu setup and make it a bit more tuneable.

I've covered an example of using a CA18DET ecu on an L/Z series motor here

2.0L non turbo isn't an issue getting engineered in a 1200 coupe.

An sr20det can be engineered in a 1200 ute in nsw despite what people think, there is a loophole that applies for commercial utilities that gets them through.
