Three cheers for Perthute, the biggest tosser on this website... hoora hoora hooraaa!

Keep picking those spots mate, hopefully you will hit someone or cause a massive crash and break your legs, wont be able to put your foot down anymore after that! Then i will trip-hooraa you once again for continuing to be a massively idiotic yobo.

Geez i really hope you have some kids as well so you can teach them that speed doesnt in fact kill, people kill, or maybe faulty pedals kill or something smart like that. Im guessing your some kind of mensa genius by your logic, wow man i bow down to your big head and oversized brain!

You should be a representative for people that speed and hit someone and kill them. You can start a campaign of 'pedestrians..... do we really need them?" You can rant on tv and DRIVE shows about how people who walk on sidewalks deserve to be hit, i mean.... what are they doing there anyway?

Im not disagreeing with all that you are saying, i just dont think we as human beings should be able to choose who lives or dies, not that we are in a position to choose, but to say so is not right.

Drug dealers will sell drugs, bullies will pick on the weak, terrorists will blow other people up, parents will murder their own kids through selfishness, boys in groups will go out and stab people just for the hell of it. This is life. People disregard other people every day. In a perfect world this would not be so. I understand we shouldnt look at this situation with rose colored glasses, but i hate death and any death is hard to hear about. What i dont like personally, and im sure many guys on here are the same, is people who fling death around with justifications and malice. All they do is polarise opinion about them and the situation. Some things should be mentioned, but not discussed further in a negative way. Support should be given for younger guys on here. This is something we can do right now, here on this website through this forum.

Jmac i got half way through your thread and i couldnt read anymore. This thread should be over and locked. By your logic people that drive race cars are committing attempted murder of themselves given the knowledge of the risk involved and the waiver they sign before they go out onto the racetrack.

Pulled the dash out to get a better look. Can see a black box with 2 wires from behind the ignition barrel (from the plug) going to it. One of the wires coming out of the box is sitting bare, it must have come out of something, maybe i knocked it accidently. Looks to be the earth, but im not sure. Black box has a patent pending number 640944 and a serial number but thats it. Says australian made. Not sure if this is some kind of ignition module??

The little light does not come from an alarm, it is just a flashing unit i think. There seems to be inline fuses everywhere i have checked as many as i can see. Im running an EMS dual sport, i was thinking that maybe there is something wrong with that, but i doubt it.`

Im having a few dramas with my car. 1200 ca18det, wiring is absolutely horrendous under the dash. A mismash of old and new loom, pathetic really! I made up a new dash plate and was installing the speedo/fuel gauge/temp gauge back but forgot to connect the earth wires to the back of the speedo unit. There is no click or crank on turning the key, nothing at all. I have a red light that constantly flashes as an alarm, it is flashing with the key in off, but it goes out when i turn the key to any position (acc etc). Im assuming the light is somehow wired to the ignition. I have checked power at the back of my ignition cylinder (the plug) it has 5 wires and 2 have power in off position (one over 12v the other under 11v). I need to get the damn thing rewired i guess, but would like to get her started before then, as i assume i have burnt out a fuse or something. All fuses seem ok. I accidently crossed two fuses and the fuel pump started working, this usually happens in acc. So im guessing there is some kind of power drain when i turn the key?? Any help appreciated.

To the young guys out there, have a chat with the boys on here before you set out on your first joyride in one of these turbocharged death traps. These cars are not made to take a hit. Tell all your mates the pitfalls of a lead foot in one of these things. Whilst it may be fun, it may also cost you your life or someone else's. A lesson should be learned here, but at the same time we should mourn the tragic loss of this poor fellow and show respect to his family and friends for the hole that they will never be able to fill for the rest of their lives.

Dodgeman, L18_B110 - judge, jury and executioner. Damn i hope i never make a mistake or something happens to my car that i cant help. You guys will just think i was being an idiot and be grateful that i was dead. Gees do you guys actually read what u are typing, terribly terribly heartless. As has been stated, as you both have been ignoring, you dont have the slightest as to what happened with this accident. Hey dodgey, your very well spoken, you understand what assumption means dont you? Sometimes its better to keep your opinion to yourself. Particularly when it is so, so heartless and selfish!

Theres no reason to remove the thread boys, people have voiced their opinion disregarding respect for this young mans death with ignorance. Who cares! Their opinions dont mean much to the families who have to deal with the loss of someone who may have been a great person. Regardless, death is not some term to be toyed with.

Who on this forum can truly say that they havent done something idiotic, perhaps when they were younger, or perhaps more recently? That they have never endangered their lives by putting their foot on the pedal for a moment too long or taken a corner too fast. Maybe this was the kids first moment of excitement. No one drives like an idiot with the intent to harm other people. Perhaps we make the mistake of assuming nothing will happen to me. But we have all made this mistake. This is why justifying this death as a positive thing is absolutely disgraceful, selfish and shows how low some people in this society have become.

Death is never a good thing. It should never be used to justify anything whatsoever. This kid was just unlucky. Not as lucky as most of us
