19th sound's good. it'll give me time to find the rest of mine. this drag day has given me the motavation i needed toput it back together. i'll intercool it this time though!!!
the auction just ended but i emailed him to see if he was going to readvertise as it didn't meet the reserve of $8500. sory i didn't notice your post earlier. if it going back on you should have a look. it,s the best one i've seen.
oh by the way the rising rate reg that i have, i actually made my self. all it is is a holly blue reg with the adjuster screw drilled out and a peice of tube silver soldered to the end of the screw. because it is about 1square inch, when it see's 1psi of boost it give's you 1 more psi of fuel preasure. it work,s well!!
hi, i've ran an l series (same princable though) with a blow through system scince 2001 with a sc14 s/c. the teflon has held up at 10psi. i use the car for burnout comp's so it get's really hot. also i run twin webber's that came off a factory blow through turbo masarati. you'll need to use a rising rate fuel reg and keep your fuel presure about 4-5 psi above your boost presure.
"DATS1N" IM NOT TOO SURE BUT I MIGHT BE SELLING MY REGO PLATE'S TO FUND THE SR20 PROJECT CAR. I BOUGHT THEM FOR $500 AND THEY HAVE NEVER BEEN REGISTERD TO A CAR SO IT'LL BE FREE TO PUT ON THE FIRST CAR UNDER VICTORIAN LAW'S ANY THOUGHT'S OR COMMENT'S WOULD BE APPRICATED!!!!
lol yeah i hope they let mine on track!!! they should, it has a tailshaft loop and all the simple stuff that you need. you've seen it though. there's bits everywhere in the yard :( . im going to use all the left over and not quite broken bit's that have been laying arround for age's. ( a cross between the last two burnout motor's, second hand head gasket a big cam, a head with really good port's that the aluminium went soft on). should do atleast a 14.99 1/4 mile. either way it'll be fun:)!!!!
WELL PIRATE PETE!!! LOL. LUCKY YOUR'S IS AN AUTO OR YOU WOULDNT BE ABLE TO DRIVE IT WITH YOUR WOODEN LEG. I'LL TRY TO GET MINE BACK TOGETHER FOR THE MELBOURNE DRAG DAY. I NEED TO SEE IT MOVE MYSELF.
