Mate... Everybody asks me that.
To the point i have taken a few people to have a look for themselves.
The chassis is completely stuffed, head on into a tree, the passenger floor pan is pushed right in, cant really even sit in the passenger side...
I wish it was rebuildable...

Thats what i had estimated... Damn my chosen career being in IT... Dont know anybody who is a painter / panelbeater Im in half a mind of doing it myself, in very small pieces, like 1 panel at a time... Just gotta research which sort of paint would be suited to this method (dont want each panel looking a different shade) This is my second datto, and ever since i got my first one, ive wanted to do one up nice...

Ah the title of that book sounds familliar...
I think thats the book i have. Very informative, but to me seems like a big job, the prep work i could handle easy enough... Just actually spraying the paint. Its a big investment to buy the paint and stuff, and a lot of work if i stuff it... Really keen to have my datto lookin smick, and to put it on the road...
My first car was a 120y 2 door (theres pics on here, look up steele87 and youll see them) and that was always gunna be a project but never got off the ground... That car has since been written off but i bought another 120y with A14, and holley carb... Not a lot of rust, and wanna have it driveable !

Hi all,
Ive never sprayed a car before, but am keen to give it all a go.
Not too enthused about spraying it all at once... Is it an acceptable method to actually pray all the panels individually..
EG: Remove and prep/spray bonnet, then bootlid, then all doors, then lastly spray the parts that cant be removed...
Next would be to CAREFULLY reattach all the panels and assemble the car once again?
Interested in any tips... Or even better, somebody that can do the spray for me, at a cost of course...
Thanks...
