My datto was the manual version so if you have teh auto tunnel you shouldnt have to do anything just make new
gearbox mounts ect

I had a 3T celica box behind my old race A14 from memory it cost around $800 (3-4 years ago) including the box & kit ect had to get a few things machined great box nice and
strong just had to enlarge the tunnel a little to make it fit.

Hey chris I had the FWD exa pulley on mine only has two pulley's to start with :)the diameter is a little smaller so the waterpump and alternator dont spin as fast.(good for high
reving) I have since built a solid bilet steel one as the old one came adrift when the engine failed at queensland with flywheel ect coming adrift must have put some vibrations through
it as it snaped the key and cracked the keyway pretty bad.
Cheers Andrew
BTW: good pics look forward to seing it finished

The reason your having problems is because the A14 block is quite a bit taller than the A12 block therefore the extractors will sit to high on the a14 engine I had the other
problem when I went from the A14 to the A12 it sat to low hitting on the drag link ect.

Thanks Dave Bloxham for your comments on my car :) I saw a pretty awsome 1200 two years ago at summernats canberra it had the roof cut off very smooth purple metalic paint with
a blow big block hemi in it!! also had a full tube chasis with 4 link rear end tubbed ect !! was not registerable.
I dont see the sense in building a car like that unless its going to be used. As I say they should be driven daily like its stolen :) or even better like a hire car LOL.
