If A15 ones are the same, I've got a used set here you can have if you want to come get them.

When I built my A15 I got all my internal bits and gaskets and new head bolts through 'Parts for cars' in Prescott St.

If you go in they might be able to help you out.

Go down and see Gary at engine Re-power, on Belvue street, near the underpass on Bridge street, he's got a bit of experiance with A series and can supply most of what you'll need.

He had a A14 freshly done sitting there for about $600 not so long ago, maybe ask if he's still got it?

The rocker gear will fit, but the manifolds may not,

depending on how bad you cooked it, the head on there now may still be fine with a light skim.

Have you fixed the cause of the overheating yet, that's probubly the first thing you want to do.

[EDIT] You can check the valves in the A14 head by sitting it on its side and filling the ports with water/wd40/metho/whatever and seeing if any leaks through. and put a straight-edge over the gasket face.

EA falcon tbi might be easy to adapt as well, the tb should bolt onto a dgav adapter. Not sure what else is in the system to make it run though.

thats life!!!.....well you come to the wrong forum

thats not a very fair statement, this forum has always been a good place to talk about bang for buck, and simple upgrades.

Not everyone is interested or financial enough to retrofit a CA or SR into their car.

sounds good, beers are always cold.

I always thought these cars would look sweet with a set of whitewalls on moondisks.
Bit out of my budget though.
