You know what DD, that list on the Wiki would be good to have in the event of an accident. I hope you have room to keep a few months worth at a time.
When I got in a wreck, I had to find ad's for 1200's for sale to help establish a value. Fortunatly there was a nice one for sale on the DimeQuarterly. I think this list would have helped too.

How much worse could it get if you used a hoist or something to lower it slowly. I don't know about using a mattress. Can you imagine if the mattress caught fire?

What if you flip it completely and support it by the strut towers and something in the bed at the frame?

That "Street View" option that they have done actually passes in front of my house.
I'm not sure how I feel about that yet. You can read the licence plates of my and my wifes cars. It's like people can case your house and street without being seen.

A sedan windshield popped up on Ebay.au a while back for about $85usd. I asked about shipping to the US and she said the cheapest whould be around $300 to $350.
I was a little bummed.

Sounds like a good opportunity for a group buy?
