Check out this neat Datto on Car Sales. He was selling it last year but then decided to keep it as he wanted to carry out a CA conversion to completely finish it off.. His girlfriend has now ordered him to get rid of it. http://www.carsales.com.au/pls/carsal ... ehicle?vehicle_id=2927895

Im not after a drag car that will run 8 sec but im after a quick car that is reliable and zippy.
Does anyone know how much weight difference there actually is between the CA an FJ..?
At the moment i think im leaning more towards the CA..

I have heard that the FJ "because it looks meatier and tougher" weighs down the front end of the ute extremely, resulting in a ridiculously light back end.
I have also heard that it is harder to mount a fron mount intercooler with the FJ due to the limited space....

Guys,
What are your guys opinions on the CA18T Vs the FJ20T when carrying out a conversion to a 1200 ute.
Im looking for some pro's and con's on each choice of motor.......
There has been an ongoing debate regarding the engineering side of the FJ but for this instance assume that both motors can be fully enginered.
