Lagwagon - Id love to leave it ur hands for a couple of weeks .But ur in Melb.

There is one for sale in NSW (Penrith) INJ18L it is advertised on datnet.org, u can also see a pic in feature cars on that site.

He wants $16K but i think its too expnsive as the old owner sold it for around $13K a few months back.

Id love to do it all myself but im not that knowledgable when it comes to motors!!!

Im a builder by trade and have no previous experience pulling out or installing a motor..'

Has any one here had a motor installed by MADDAT mayb thats my next option??

I have been looking around for approx 6 months for someone to drop in a CA18 in my ute. Im in Syd and have been priced $14K from Rigollis, $12K from Roccos and i think around $12K from RUF, these are all without eng cert. To me these are all way to expensive and hence why I am still looking around. Throughout my research I have discovered is the cost of labour and custom engine mounts are all estimates and u have to be carefull not to get sucked into spending more and more without budgeting first.

Converted I will have to give that Jeff bloke a call as I live in Penrith and is not far away at all. Has he carried out a CA18 conv to a datto ute b4??

Thanks Guys,

I will post a few more pics to give you a better idea.

The motor is a tweeked up A12 (not for long a CA18T not far away) with a 5 speed box. The colour is a Ford Monza Red.

Ill post some better pics
