Yeah hi-fil only needs thinning once its been opened and closed a few times or I found it clog and spatter sometimes. Sounds like you had more luck than me fitting the guards still for the price they arent too bad.

New laminated glass windscreen cost $200 plus $50 to fit both front and rear glass in my car.

I will look into new from nissan but i don't think its going to be cheap. Its out of a C20, 1982 A12 I think, should have 8 bolts holding it to the housing if its a h165.

I have been looking for a while, best option so far is to buy a cheap van and use that centre or wreckers have one but Im looking at nearly $300. Im happy running the 4.11:1 for now though, moneys tight so have to use it wisely.
