No unfortunately, if I had the money at the time I would of got seat rails done and an underdash bar. The underdash bar would be great for mounting the pedal box, that was a pain to get fitting right into the old support for the steering column. Getting a nice new mig at some point so if I do a strip down at some point I will weld them in myself.
Thats right I like functional and simplistic haha...

Doooo it... What are your thoughts on using the shims without a gasket in between head and shim? Im thinking I have a .8 shim for my L16, if i coat it with copper paint do you think it would seal? I have lapped block and head is machined nice and true...

Clearly says 'Recorded using the new MoTeC VCS. Lap number not set, and gear number not configured.'
Nicely done, was this a supersprint, definitely has a lot of snap oversteer, but then again, look at the power. Very nice!

I will get some more pics tomorrow, still have to clean up the grinds on the ears, the shifter is the only bit I am concerned about, it was glowing nice and red and cooled in oil so should be strong. Basically like this although I didnt have room to just redrill the hole I had to extend the ears 20mm, the hole is now 35mm higher than before...

Made a nice shifter today, cut the end ball off and extended it 35mm, then extended ears on the gearbox by 35mm, much shorter throw, before it would of been nearly a foot throw, probably not that bad but much better now. Started moving the seat a little, looking at getting it a bit lower closer to the tunnel and rearward a tad, when the cars out of shape im not really comfortable limited a bit in arm room.
Also on the lookout for a Vanette H165 4.875:1 diff centre... phoning around today I didn't have too much luck, I found one but don't really want to play games with the bloke, when I asked what ratio it was he said he has all ratios and if I want a 'special' ratio then the price goes up a considerable amount... i mean do i ask for a 3.9:1 watch him double the price and then take the 4.875:1 for cheap?
