That looks good from the one pic, but that ad is woefully short on details and photos. Shouldn't there be a GX badge on the grill?

If you look closely, you'll notice that DD posts a LOT of cars for sale, however, he's not the person selling them.
He supplies links as a courtesy to people who might be looking for a 1200, so please follow the links in his postings. Don't inquire to him directly.
Chances are very good that a post from six months ago means the car is gone, especially if the price is in the sub-$1000 range.
With that said, I have been considering selling my Coupe. It's not the cheapest one around, but I'm willing to show it to you. I'm in the OC area. Send me a pm (private message) if interested.

It is nice to have two different ones. With the regular, I keep it floored most of the time. But with the side-draft I rarely get to do that.
I replaced literally everything mechanical in my Coupe (except the motor which is a great runner) and it is quiet, smooth, and rides very nice. The sedan is an entirely different animal. Loud and exciting describes it fairly well. I'm going to go ahead and swap my rebuilt 5-spd in the Coupe. That should make it a bit more freeway friendly. My sedan has a H165 rear axle and springs out of a ute, and I'm putting it back to stock. I don't enjoy the log wagon ride anymore in my old age

Thanks Benny, That's a great idea. BTW, I love that Blue color on your sedan. My sedan is white, but I'm thinking about painting the Coupe that Blue color. Very nice!

It appears my newly acquired sedan has a rear axle from a '74 or later ute. It's a H165, and sprung VERY stiff.
Today, I just acquired the rear axle assembly from a B210/120y sedan donor along with the springs, drive shaft, and all the mounting hardware. I want to use the H150 because I can get a NOS ring and pinion with a 3:70 ratio.
Will the B210/120y leaf springs work? (Is the spring rate close, and/or will they fit?)
Should I go grab the std 1200 springs and use them? (I know where there is a pair available)
I just got back from the wreckers, it's dark, (I can't measure for fit right now) and if I need the 1200 springs, a road trip is on for the first thing in the morning.
Thanks for your help!

I'm reviving this old thread because I am going to grab a B210 rear axle out of a '78 B210 sedan w/ auto trans tomorrow for use in my 1200 sedan. I can still get a NOS 3:70 ring and pinion, so I am going with this rear axle. I've searched everywhere (including Wiki) and it doesn't appear that anyone has done this first hand. I'm hoping this info is correct. I'll let you know in the next few weeks. Quote: ddgonzal wrote:
We know more now. There are at least three common kinds of B210 differential assemblies. Plus Sedan and Coupe differ in their shock mounting and brake line routing.
If you get all these parts it should be easy: * entire axle assembly, including brakes * leaf spring mounts and leaf clamps and the Ubolts. Use Sedan for Sedan, and Coupe for Coupe * Center Brake line * Handbrake cable * Tailshaft/driveshaft

I'm looking for an accelerator pedal for a RHD 1200 sedan. If you're parting out a vehicle or have a spare, please let me know.
Thanks!
Duncan
