thanks for the suggestions i'm pretty sure i wont be getting a pearl paint job for that price maybe not even metallic. i told the guy that i wanted to paint it black and the dents showing up in black were his concern too so i'm confident that he'll do a good job of that. i'm thinking maybe a nice silver or white paint might be the go. but heres the twist i might have just found a 1200 coupe for cheap. maybe its a more deserving project car?? keep the suggestions coming

i just rested a block of wood on it and smashed it in nice and even
(it leaked afterwards though but a bit of 515 fixed that ) i was lucky enough to have the head off while i did it though so i could rest it on its end

hey guys i've found someone who'll beat my ute dead straight flair my gaurds paint the ute and stonegaurd my tray for under $1300 so i need suggestions for good colors i was thinking gloss black with chrome trims (the inside metal is getting painted too so i was thinking of having checkerplate door trims) i'm plannig on tinrting the windows nice and dark too cheers

try using a little buffer and "fishscaling" it looks very cool then u should b able to get clear heatproof paint from ur local paintbarn in an aerosol. i'm probably wrong but i think thats all u need

i agree with freak hit the bung with a hammer half a dozen times (careful not to crack the housing) the get the biggest shifter on that u can and flog the piss out of it (the handle of the shifter) while holding as much pressure on it that u can. i spend a portion of my day removing all the ####ed out bungs off trucks and thats just what works for me either that or 6 foot of pipe
