weld a hex head bolt onto it & soak with penetrating oil then pull out, forget easy outs, etc....

not trying to bang on you here buy why take everything to a mechanic? You'll learn & save money by doing it yourself.

Its 35 yr old tech.,you cant screw too many things up so bad by not knowing what your doing so go for it - take it apart, use the books & diagrams on the site & you'll be fine. Just be cautious & dont beat things apart w/hammers, etc...

This is how you will learn what makes your car tick!

hey just for educational sake would you mind taking a bunch of pic's of the system installed & posting them? Yuo know, full view of the condenser, the hoses & how they run in the compartment, the compressor, evap & all that stuff. I realize it might be kinds of a pain but there's very little picture info regarding 1200 AC setups.

I'm installing one in my coupe but its been a custom job all the way - if you dont mind doing all that I think the Datsun community will thank you

Do you own a test light ? its for checking electrical connections - if not buy one of those along with the tuning equipment Dave suggested in the other thread. You can use it to trace wiring circuitry & everything else.
