Duncan -
Pilkington Classics
4458 Alum Creek Drive, Unit C
Columbus, OH. 43207

800 848 1351

Make sure its the Classic division

Part # FW00237 coupe shield - have them confirm it, I paid $150 plus $100 frt & tax.

I think the glass for my 02 GMC is about $400 so I thought it was a great deal for an obsolete part.

Good luck!

DD, you better snatch that glass up, nobody had new for sedans anymore. How much did he want for it?

So are you going to contact those suppliers & get those panels comming? I could use them right now, instead I'm spending hours pounding out the belt line of the fender & using a shrinking disc trying to get it right. Its working but time consuming.

I'll take 2 fenders & a lower valance please

If you want a good body filler try Evercoat Rage or there lightweight filler with a metal glaze on top of that - the stuff works pretty good.

Last year I bought a new windshield from Pilkington Glass but since I had not removed the old one at that time I wasn't sure if it was correct or not.

I pulled the old one the other day & overlayed the new glass & it was a perfect match! Good news for a change when it comes to parts.

so if anyone wants a new windshield there were a few coupe models left at the time I purchased mine - cheap too, about $150 ea. (US). et me know & I'll look up their info for you.

does anyone know of any panel suppliers (front fenders & lower valance) that will ship to the US? So far I've had no luck & I'd prefer new vs. pounding out my dents if possible.

Thanks all.

does that supplier have an e-mail address? I'm in the states & would love to get new panels instead of beating out all the dents.

Thanks,
Evan

are you thinking of body filler (bondo) or epoxy (glue)?

Do you have any pic's of one installed with a single side draft weber & canon manifold or know how it all fits together? This is for a left hand drive car.

Also, how did you get the image to show in your post instead of a link to it?

thanks, Evan

My doner vehicle will need to go down the road soon (a few months at most). Likely when I'm done there wont be much left of it other then the shell.

If anyone has any interest in something like this let me know, I rather something off it was used instead of destroyed.

e-mail me, post or PM

And no, i wont ship it to Australia unless someone want's to trade me a few of those brand new panel that are available over there & not here.

Evan

I think my job was a little easier because I had removed the rear windows already. i did end up using a block of wood against the bottom edge of the trim cap & tapping with a hammer from the inside of the car outward.

Once I got it started it wasn't too bad & it does tend to kind of roll upward when removing it. I could also see how easy it would be to mangle it so caution is the key.

I'm glad to hear reinstalling them is easier, i'm not anxious to screw up a new paint job, at that point I might be so paranoid I'll leave them off.
