Turboron, I have the same problem with Nissan right now, I've got the strut cartridges, insulators & bearings on back order & the counter guy doesn't think they'll ever come in.I'm leaving them on order& we'll see what happens.
Your neighbor Kelmo down in AZ., gave me the part #'s & he said if they show up in NIssans system likely their good but it takes awhile. You can buy rear shocks pretty easily, try Schucks, Rockauto.com, Gaberiel shock.
Dodgeman & others - do you have the web links to any of the down under parts houses that carry these bushes & suspension components?
Thanks all! Evan

just don't do the diesel in a gas engine - very bad!
Back in the day when gas nozzles were all the same size (at least in the US) you could mix them up easily.
I had to drain a few customers tanks of diesel when they came into the shop.

Thanks Jake, can you buy Superpro in the US or is it overseas only? I've poked around on their web site before but it's layout is kinda strange.
I assume Autobarn in an AU parts chain? Evan

Anyone know where I can buy a set of rear leaf spring bushings or if anything from other models would fit?
thanks, Evan

Thanks everyone for the intel - does anyone think its worth reupholstering the originals vs. replacing with some of the above suggested one?
I assume for a decent set of seats they'll cost a fair amount & upholstery isn't cheap either.

Dodgeman, thanks for the ford info - I'm not sure iti's the same car buy Mazda had the Protege over here. Its a compact 2 or 4 door, the only thing small I've seen in Ford of that era would be the Escort & I don't think the focus was out then.
Any idea what those seats are out of? Thanks, Evan

what have you guys used for nice cushy upgraded seats that fit well & retro over with reasonable ease?
I not looking for those hard ass racing seats, I actually want to drive this thing & have it be comfortable. It would be nice to put it power seats, I'm sure one of you have done this, what did you use?
Thanks, Evan
PS - if I start adding pwr. seats, windows, etc.. do I need to go to a higher output alternator as well?

Thanks for the pic's & info, I was hoping to find something that had just two small contact points to the truck deck. Was there another bobtail that was common for the 1200's?
I seem to remember a spolier that wasn't completely attached all the way around the spoilers edges to the deck lid.

Anybody have any recommendations for a good looking rear spoiler off some other make/model of car thats been done before?
Not looking for a Superbee wing or a "Fast & furious" style either, preferable something subtle & fitting to a 1200 coupe.
Anybody have any pic's of retro fits they've done?
Thanks, Evan
