I've tried getting answers from the OZ fender sellers & I can never get them to respond to my inquiries as to whether they'll ship to the US. Let me know if you have any luck with this as I'd be interested too.

If anybody on the site has dealt with these guys it'd be good to know.

I have a third A12 motor in storage that I'll pull the flywheel & compare that to the others. the one with the recess is at least 1/2 the weight of the one off the A14, thats what made me think its been milled down.

They both definitely came off A series motors, it'd be nice to know diameters of stock flywheels for A12's & 14's if anybody knows.

What motor is standard for an F10?

Thanks, Evan

I had an F10 once, I have no idea what the flywheel looked like though. Would it have been a smaller diameter?

Would the previous guy have used it on this motor for weigh savings or some such? My plan had been to bench run this motor & I needed to put a started on it so I pulled the flywheel for an A14 I had to get the cover/protector plate to swap onto the A12 & then took this flywheel off the A12 & I found the differences then.

It even looked like someone had previously milled the bolt heads down, they had a very shallow head on them, approx. 3/16" high.

My problem with uploading was simple - too big! I posted them at 640 x 480 & up they went just fine.

I'm wondering how all these strings end up with photo's posted in them. Can you attach or upload when your starting a new post?

I have two flywheels that I removed from 2 different A-series engines. One from an A12 & one from an A14. The A12 looks lightened substantially, its diameter is 9 7/8" , theres approximately a 3/4" deep recess from the ring gear surface to the clutch surface. The A14 one is 10 3/4" diameter & flush across the surface. It looks like comparing the two that the A12 one has been milled down quite a bit.

I took pictures & tried to upload but I cant seem to get it to work right. I resized them & tried uploading but still no go. Ideas anyone?

what are the standard diameters of flywheels for these motors ? I thought they were the same diameter through the A series line, am I wrong?

Thanks, Evan

I bought a welder from these guys. So far it seems to be an excellent machine for a very good price. dual voltage, multiple heat settings, stitch & spot welding features, nice clean welds w/o much spatter with the gas bottle. Around $900 US for the 160DV model. Seems to be very well made, a lot of great features for the money. Not some puny transformer with a small duty cycle. I've never bought a welder before but all the Lincoln, Horbart, Miller welder in the same price range didn't seem to compare at all & so far it's performed great. To get the same features in the above mentioned brands was pushing $2000 US.

It cost me $100 to ship across the US so to AU, $300 to $400 ???

Good luck, check out hyperlink.

do you have any cowling intake vent covers you'd want to ship off to the good ole USA from the shell?

Are they the same as on a coupe?
Thanks, Evan
