I copped a bad batch of fuel from a nearby servo a few months back.
The servos unleaded tank copped a couple of thousand litres of diesel by accident.

Even though they new, they just added more unleaded and didnt get it pumped out and sent back to the refinery. It was sold through the pumps over the weekend making cars hard to start and run rough.

I spent a day chasing a supposed electrical fault on the Ratmobile.

If you are using a good tension wrench (Warren and Brown, Snap On etc) Then the bolts are being kept within their design load. The factory manuals do not say to use new ones every rebuild even on GX engines.

I change them for all out race engines but for most street engines it would be a waste of time.

For undoing crank bolts, I think an air impact wrench is a very good friend

You will find parts available from this site http://www.dellorto.co.uk/. There is also some good tuning data here as well.

If you have the box out, check you are using the right length thrust race carrier for the pressure plate height you are using.

There are four race carrier lengths.

true, but you can't punch an A15 out to 1.8L using factory parts.

I want to stay in under 1600cc class

As the car is being used in motorkhanas and autocross, is a 5 speed needed
