If any one is interested I have picked up some high quality KP (a Japanese brand), A series gasket sets cheap.

If you want a set or two,
A12 sets are $27.50 for a full rebuild set,
A14/A15 full rebuild sets are $55.
E13 to E16 sets are $55

Prices include GST. Add post charges or freight as required.

I only have 6 x A12, 5 x A14/A15 and 3 x E15 sets.

No more than any other L20B stroker, its just that in some rally car classes you need to use a particular block that came with the car.

For 2.4 from an L18 (ALA GLEN BAKKER) you need the Z24 crank machined down and a 25mm steel spacer fitted to the top of the block that you bore through and fit a top lipped press in liner through.
Big bucks but fun!!!!!!!!!

Stevo,
Metal laminated gaskets are the go if you can find them. Use some 3 Bond jointing paste and they are fully re-useable.

What times were you getting till the leak???

Yep, I have seen the Accusump and it is pretty basic. I think the concept could be improved fairly easily.

I have been looking at a manufacturing a turbo accumulator that stores oil through a one way valve while the engine is running. The oil is stored in a spring loaded piston canister.

When you turn the engine off, the oil continues to bleed through another one way valve and cool the turbo housing.

So much to do in so little time !! !!

I believe Autospeed did a test on them and found the energy save by the water pump was used by the electrical energy required to power the water pump. The net benefit was zilch for a big buck outlay????????
