I'm all for anything that improves a cars handling but rose joints on road cars make me nervous... they just get too much of a pounding on normal everyday roads.

I'd just stick with urethane bushes, they are easy to replace and importantly you can feel/see them wearing out. With rose joints the first you know something is wrong is when they snap - and naturally that usually happens at a point when you really have them loaded up. That's not the best thing to have happen when you are on a race track but at least that's a controlled area - on public roads roads it's something you just don't want to think about.

Mate, I changed over to a Mac at the beginning of the year and I'll never go back to a PC... everything is just so much easier.

Datsun Mac Owners Club?

Hi all, I have some seriously modified front suspension in a Sprite I have (with an A12 fitted) and was wondering if anyone can recommend a place for me to take it to get it all sorted out. I need a place that can actually 'think' and 'problem solve' instead of just being able to replace parts... a bit of fabrication is going to be involved.

Any help will be great.

Matt.

Hi guys,

I need to find out what the 'manufacturers guidelines' say the average fuel consumption per 100km's is for a datto 1200 with a normal A12 engine?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Matt.

I'll ask this question before one of the 'Dattomasters' bites your head off - where are you located as it makes it a lot easier to tell you where to go.

Thanks Kegs... I'll call him today.

...and Tom210... that is exactly what it does. Don't really need it so much in winter but I tend to use my car for long hours in summer and that engine gets damn hot, especially after a few blasts back and forth over the Bells line of Road in 38 degree heat.
