Hey guys,

Well it's been a freaking long time since I was here last and a lot has happened in my car & personal life but who cares about that - the main reason is that I've never been able to get over the Datsun bug so super keen to make a come back! These sorts of ads were semi frowned upon when I was lurking daily here about 5 years ago so just let me know if they're a BIG no no and I'll take it down immediately.

Atm I'm trying to sell my 1999 Nissan Stagea C34 (series 2) which I love dearly and has been a work horse for me but I need some pre 1985 Japanese love back in my life, mainly the smell of vinyl & carbs

The ad for the Stagea is here:

http://www.gumtree.com.au/m-my-ad.html?adId=1038954740

I'm located in Melbourne & after Datto that hopefully has:

- stock or slightly modified (no huge ported fuel suckers sorry... wallet couldn't handle it)
- rego/rwc
- solid body (no major bog jobs)
- strong motor
- minimal rust
- suspension in good nick with good ride qualities
- manual
- preferably wagon, sedan or coupe. Had a 1200 ute & keen for another body type.
- between price bracket of $2000-$7500

So please pass this msg on to anyone that might be interested in the wagon and/or might have something on offer. Happy to travel to check it out.

Thanks y'all

can't really sorry, only in the state till tomorrow & parents both partially disabled so needed this stuff gone in person rather than them both trying to do it...

Any takers at all?? I feel like it's going to waste if chucked in the skip!

Hey guys, haven't been here for a looong time due to me being Datsunless :(
But on a lighter note, if anyone in Launceston or Tassie is after 4X Jelly bean mags (escort stud pattern pretty sure) and 4 X tyres (225/65 15" 2 good, 2 average) then come get em!

They're just sitting at my parents house waiting to be removed or otherwise they're going in the skip by this coming sunday.

and if your after anymore freebies (non car related) the sheds choc-a-blok full of crap that needs to go before my parents move house!

Hope all is swell & dandy in datsun land with y'all

Cheers
Dave

sweet thanks for that dudes, will get on to it within the next couple of weeks. the old girl needs a service too but living in hawthorn restricts me from having a #OOPS#ing garage to work in plus i should be driving a black BMW X5 like all the other stuck up dykes in my neighbour hood!

ah well at least the women are nice to look at hahaha

cheers

Hey guys, felt like an age since i've posted on here - reason being i've been datsunless for 3 years

It doesn't feel great but i've been driving a granny spec toyota 1988 corolla (original 55000k's, runs awesome) however a big dirty tram on bridge road decided to scrape my side the other day (damn cyclist pulled out in front of me so i couldn't do anything apart from hit & kill him...) so veered right and WHAAAAMMMYYYYY

so, i was wondering if any of you guys knew of any good forums, wreckers, plp selling in the metropolitan melbourne area of 1X front right & 1X rear right 1988 Toyota corolla doors? White preferably...

haven't been in Melbs with a car i need stuff for long enough to know any places, plus most of my mates over here are mechanically retarded & no interest in cars (i know, wtf!) at all.

Cheers guys & hope all is swell in Datsun land!

Dave

Hey guys, been a while since been on due to being datsunless - it hurts

if anyones interested, at my old house in Launceston, Tas. theres a sunny wagon shell sitting there waiting to go to a home.

Its engine & wheel less but has full driveline, half a 1 3/4" zorst system, electrical, interior bitties too. The rear end is practically all new (bushes - polyurathane, shocks - munroe, 2" lowered king springs, rubbers, brakes) & the diff is in pretty good nick also

The body itself has seen better days (pics in my album from a while ago) but restorable if someone willing to put in the hard yakka!

Either hit me up on here, email: dave01.cooper@gmail.com or phone on 0400598985

thats the rear end when it was put in, did probably 3000k on it then was left to sit in the yard...

Theres also a shed full of Datsun crap there too if wanting to look thru/scrounge.

Cheers
Dave
