i am trying to put the stearing back in to my 1200 i have the teath in the stearing box lined up in a central position wit the wheels in a streaght position
but every time i turn to the left it pops of the circlip that holds the shaft in to the stearing collum and the shaft is moving in and out as i turn the wheel left or right
the only thing that i can think of that is causing this is that it has 120y front struts
is there any thing that has to be changed whith thease struts any ideas what i am missing guys as this car was disasembled when i baught it i am at a bit of a loss

i got my windows out with the chrome still in the rubber
it would pay to use a blunt knife and run it around the eadge of the rubber to help free it up and if you do not have any one to healb put somthing soft on your bonet to catch the window

to increese the stroke would loose you some revs but would give you better low end power (tourqe)
a longer stroke would be better for no gears
i think
