in my opinion they are all crap
they have week botem ends in standard form and are a real pig to work on but yes the later model dose make good power

as imformation for thease dattos seams to be very limited on the internet
but right now i know nothing

hey there i just purchased a 1963 datto 1200 ute
and its a real goer with minimal rust
the question is
this motor has j14 where it usualy has a12
does this mean it is actualy a 1400cc
the dizzy comes sreight out the side of the block at nearly a 90 degree and the head looks slightly diferent to the a series
what are these motors like
and one more thing
what wheels from othere cars will fit these as i think they are 6 stud thanx guys for any healp
as this will be my next project after i have finnished my sedan

i have had heaps of eccys and they where all wicked and they do reall wel on the trackl

i play guitar in two working bands as well as 8 ball comp and a full time job so my datto is coming along pretty slowly aswell
but it will be worth the wait for somthing you have built yourself
