i allways heard that if you higher your compression ratio you can get more power.is that true.if i do that to my natrualy aspiraited L20B will it make a diffrence.what are the up and downs.and how do i do that....

1972 datsun 620. L20B,single 45mm dcoe,headers,stock 4speed tranny.4.11 rearend.could somone give me an estimate on what i would do on the 1/4 mile please.thanks.any replys welcome

i think from 1977 or 1978 they started making 5 speed for datsun trucks.is that a good transmision for my L20B.i got the crapy 4 speed now.is the gear ratios good.i looking for good 1/4 mile peformance and street.give me info.please thanks

is there a website were i can see a L20B w/ a turbo on it.i want to put a turbo on my so i need advise.....i need to talk to someone who costom built a turbo on there engine so i can ask questions.help thanks

well i can't use a manual book to tell me whats the problem because my engine ain't the stock.its a L20B w/ webers,headers.......so thier is other possibilities other than normal..??

on my 72 datsun 620 i have the brake booster(the round thing behind the master cilinder) disconnected from the vacume line.because when its connected and engine runing the brakes grab hard and the pedal goes to the floor.what could be the problem.i think i need a new brake booster.
what do you guys think.where could i find one.

in any gear if i pass half throttle then it misses/sputter.


when in nuetral if i rev it slowly its o.k. but when i want an instant rev it sputters.
ONLY IF I PASS 3000 RPM AND THEN STOMP ON IT I GET INSTANT REV.BUT FROM IDLE IT SPUTTERS IF YOU REV IT FAST.HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
