1200rc, the hose from the intake only feeds the 2 idle control things. Im not running either of them so i cant see them robbing any power

changing where the boost reference is could have just upped the boost to a constant 8-9psi and that would have made it rev much nicer with the engine still getting boost higher up in the rev range.

So you should be up around 120-130kw now?
Still going for a boost t and more boost?

Was noticeably more lively on the way home. I love how I now have my 2.5-3k rpm power back

Thought i might as well update this thread after the dyno day also

So first run as ive been driving it around was about 130rwkw on 8psi
upped the boost to 12-13psi and ended up with 166rwkw at around 6000rpm

As i thought with the ca16 inlet cam and the lower boost is wasnt really making the power till after 4500rpm, went from about 80kw at 4500 up to 130kw at 7000rpm and boost was creeping up to 10psi after 5k

With the higher boost, the boost actually comes on much sooner and low end power is back up to pre cam levels. so i guess i wont have to worry about changing back to the standard cam to get the low end power back.

Still have the 440cc injectors and z32 afm to go onto the car then get it properly tuned and see what power it can get when its more than just the boost level being increased

WINNER

mine made 130ish rwkw on the first run t about 8psi.
then we played with the boost a bit. think it was about 140 something at 10psi
then a max of 166rwkw at around 6000rpm with 12-13psi still sitting on .75 lambda

so it still seems well and truly safe. tha'ts with CA16 inlet cam, t28, front mount, 3inch exhaust, pod filter, custom turbo manifold, standard 370cc injectors and an ecu that may or may not me tuned for exhaust and pod filter

so a big thanks to simon for making the day happen, just unfortunate that the a12 at something like 25psi couldnt quite beat my power. came very close though

You actually thought they would work off the stock senders?

Get a t piece for the oil pressure senders and put the water temp in the bottom radiator hose joining piece that circulates water down to the back of the engine.
will require some brazing skills

You'd have to have a very large angle before they would offer much in the way of centering benefits
