once agian, where abouts are you

they are in reasonable condition, they stopped the 120y that they are in
i was told that a new master cylinder for a 1200 coupe(disc brake one) was about $110

its probably that easiest swap to get disc brake front, but most people go for the stanza swap as they have bigger brakes

all that you have to do is sort out new brake lines, there is more info on the swap in the tech section

thanks of that, havent had too much of a look at the head yet, but from what i could see it looked ok

do you know if the GX cam fits in the standard block, dont know if ill get a new cam or not yet
and i guess you can just heat up the coolant suction pipe and bronze it onto the new block

I was just wondering if the block pistons crank etc. are different in a Gx compared to a standard 1200 engine

reason is that my Gx block looks to have a bit to much corrosion happening in the water gallaries
So i was wondering if just putting the Gx head on a standard a12 would be a good idea, or if there are any Gx bits worth swapping to the new block

i thought the same thing when i got my 200b on some bitumen
2 wheels spinning starting in second gear, and mine only has the standard carb with the second side opening earlyer
i'd love to get twin carb for it so it has that little bit more power, but spinning 2 wheels in second is pretty good from a standard engine
