hi all.... my old engine.. the A12.. very loud u can hear 'wind blowing' sound very loud (just like the sound of hair dryer) then i change to A15 engine.. also same~! very loud.. same 'wind blowing sound' and all my engine is stock (no modification)
anyway. . to compare the old car my dad used to have.. B110, with the small engine.. very quiet and smooth. another B310 with A12 engine , its a car of my relative, also the A12 engine very smooth and quiet. then yesterday i have a ride in my friends old car, a mazda car (i dono the model, like mazda 1000 or something), also the engine very quiet and smooth
so why all engine i got so noisy anyone have any clue or any tech detail to share?
seems like most A series engine have same behavior.. :)
well, good luck for your balancing, hope can see a smooth high-revving engine come out soon. :) plz share with us what your mech do to balance up the engine. really appreciate that
ya.. travle at near 140kph really vibrate a lot... well i do that maybe once or twice a month when i goes back to my parents place. (medium long journey). but i belive dats are very reliable.. :)
hi all.. is it the A12 flywheel direct fit to A15? any modification needed? i do notice the engine response (rev up and rev down) not as fast as A12....
later i go try on rev it straight until 5k rpm on neutral gear..
btw, about the camm.. so i need different angle one? will the A12 one fit my A15? any differnece will it made?
nice pic and nice setup there so we just need to change the dizzy cap to the V8 one? or the whole dizzy?
so in V8 engine, the 'thing' inside the dizzy will spin double the speed when it spin in a 4-cylinder engine?
so in this configuration.. we can have longer spark duration (spark 2 times)? i a bit confused.. hope someone can help me out here...
er.. also, instead we have 2 leads connect to one plug.. why not we conenct the thing at the bottom place of the distributor cap (2 point connected together) so in this way only 1 cable to the plug and look more tidy?
anyway... sad thing is that my country filled with small cc car, and there is no V8 here... and even V6 is rare.. so sure is hard to find that distributor thing..
