Well so far it sounds like it will be the 19th then. I suggest we meet at the same place. Maybe later on we can start to move the meetings around a bit (Devonport, Down hobart way etc etc).

I was the Stage Safety Officer for the Rosebery stage so got to see the cars come down to the flying finish Flat out and then talk to all the Drivers and Navigators as The clocked in for there times.

I even got to talk to the famous Dat16.

Teretonga If you ever make a trip to Tassie expect a vist from one of my fellow Wombats (Suicide speed humps). I thought Sydney was more dangerous than Tassie.

I would do the world trip in a Subaru Outback. Not to big, AWD, room for some friends, and a big enough boot area to put a few datsun bits in.
plus you should be able to get parts in most countries for it.(if it breaks down)
