The tops are not a problem, it is the base of the strut where it bolts to the knuckle.

Heyyas....I am fitting the stanza struts into my 120 and I have one drama......the bolt holes of the steering knuckles of the 120 dont line up with the stanza struts...they are a couple of mm out each side......

Do the stanza knuckles fit the 120 ball joints or what has to be done to make em fit?

I have been doing motorkahnas on and off for the last 10 years and locked is the only way to go.....even on grass.....an open diff will just single spin and you will go nowhere.

I won the first couple of gp5 kahnas last year in a bog stock 120y, with stock a12 and a locked diff being the only mod......

it is a speed technology limiter, it drops every second spark or so....a soft cut limiter.

My stOCK a15 is running a 32/36 weber, pery 4-2-1 extractors and a 2 inch exhaust with a straught through resonator and the exhaust dumps under the LH rear door. Nice and loud and makes good flames on the limiter!

My 120y is used for the dirt, and in the rear I am using stock leafes with double acting oil shocks from the rear of a VY commodore, and on the front I will be using stanza struts with 120y springs and the oil shocks filled with 20w50 engine oil, nice an firm with a fair bit of travel which is great for high speed dirt stuff.

This seems to be happening everyehere.

Clader park is a nother example...I remember when it was a track in the middle of no where......now there are houses right on its perimiter. Calder has lost many events like V8 super cars and drag nationals, either through public complaints or poor facility maintenence. The car club I race with can no longer afford to run sprints there dut to insurance costs pushing the track hire fee from $4,000 a day to just over $8000 a day.

And sandown, that has tight noise restrictions, I believe no more than 90 odd Db from the side of the race track. Just for the residents. And Sandown was approved for drags but residents complained enough that it never got off the ground. Oh well...I guess the drags on Princess HWY outside sandown are better for residents.
