Are the control arms and stuff needed to fit stanza struts into a 120y?

How much for rally tires and bosskit for 120y is same as 1200.......

I am after a rollcage for a 120y.....

Also after a bosskit for a 120y.......

Also after a pair of stanza front struts with brakes.....

Lastly after a set of 13 or 14 inch rally tires to suit a 120y/1200.......

All in melb......

I was not trying to bring the idle down but I was trying to bring the timing back inline with specs.

I did find a tear in a vac hose off the inlet manifold which fixing that has made a huuge difference, the car is now running more ritcher and is heaps more crisper on the throttle which has made it a heck of a lot more fun to drive.

If i give it a rev with the vac line off the timing slowly increases as the revs go up which shows the mechanical advance is working.

When I stick the vac line back on it increases much quicker which shows the vac is working also.

The car does not ping at all and it only gets 98 octane fuel.

I checked the timing on the a15 yeaterday....at idle with vac line off the dissy it has 20 degrees of timing at idle.....spec say 7 degrees......yet with less timing it idles real crap.

I know it aint a datto but My R31 (when it still had an rb30 with 170rwkw) did a 1:10.7 around Calder park long track.

Well with that in mind then....

What would be the first thing you would do to give it more grunt between 3500-5500 rpm?

it is used for motorkahna so it spends most of its life in first gear wheel spinning on dirt so limiting the revs is always a good thing as the last thing you are looking at is the tacho!

The dissappointing thing is it dont rev any harder then my old stock a12 did! it certainly goes much harder but is not any revvier.

for the oil, I am using 10w40 mobil oil. I usually change it every month as it costs me nothing...so oil quality aint an issue.

I think the engine was out of a van but the intake and exhaust manifolds that came with the engine stock are different to those off an a15 from a vanette. The exhaust manifold also had an oxygen sensor in it.

What would be helpful is knowing what the max safe rpm is for these suckers so I can set the rev limiter so my missus dont over rev it.
