You sure you are not thinking of the Weber 40 DFAV which is not a progressive but simultaneous downdraught carb. It looks almost the same as a 32/36.

Possibly. I have not really paied that much attention to one. I was just suggesting a more common possibility.

I thought 14/15 extractors mounted different cos Nisspares have b110/210 extractors new real cheap, but I was told they womt mount up to an a14/15.

I belive the XE/XF foolcans ran a 2 barrell d/d webber not to different to the escort items. And they have an electronic fuel cut to stop the engine 'running on' when switched off.

I did not realise you are in tassie.

I have 2 32/36 complete and one in bits under my bench!

They are quite common here. Are their any small ford clubs in tassie? They may be of some help.

I bought brand new a 38/38 webber for $400 a couple of years ago. I am not sure if they are still avvailable now though.

Man...Any 2.0 Escort or Cortina will have a 32/36 webber. And if you are lucky an early cortina 1600 gt had em too.

And yeah.....the lill 120y, I dont know whay they copped so much flack....if it was not for the rust they they get a lot of.....they are actually a great little car.

Hey there. Will a 1600 boss kit fit a 120y?

I am assuming that a 120y is the same as a 1200?

If so what other datsun/missan models fit these cars?

I did a simmilar thing a couple of months ago to my R31. Bent a rim, axle and stuffed the panhard rod... it is amazing what one lil gutter can do.

I definately have no intention of using this car for anything more than dirt stuff. I have my Rb26dett powered R31 Skyline for the track and hillclimbs.

I can get hold if a 180b for nothing which will give me the Crossmember, struts, tailshaft and mounts for an L series. I just know there is a bit of stuffing around with master cylinders and boosters to make the brakes work. and I need a custom cross member but I think that is all.
