if you have a guy in the tyre business you can make a huge saving, you should be able to pick them up for around $120 -$140 .

I bought mine for $120 a piece. Normal retail i have seen them for $235 in sydney.

From my experience i could only get 195/50/15 on 15 X 6 rims without doing mods to the guards. Although i use adjustable castor rods, so that i can move the geometry around a bit.

i have since fitted 195/55/15 Falken Azenis street legal slicks on 6 inch wide rims. I cut the lower corner / edge of the guards.
Very soft tyre, great grip, dont last very long though ( it doesnt bother me as it is only driven every other sunday)

Chech out this article, it compares yokies, bridgestones and Falken Azenis.

im using aftermarket valves (shin-ichi) 39mm inlet - 35mm exhaust. The only thing needs to be done is to have them stortened, new collet groove and use lash caps.

ive had great success with using k-liners on the exhaust guides as well as they are self lubricating. From memory, they are made from a bronze type composite. Helps increase the life of the valve stem / guide.

im with you there L18. this is a great example of how to destroy a classic car. What was this guy thinking.

Whats wrong with putting a beefy straight 6 with an exotic 6 speed manual, just to be different.
