Stay away from them. Decompress it properly. using a decomp plate could stuff up all the rocker geometery. If your running big boost put forgies in it anyway. You mayaswell build it reliable coops
Those small GT40 coils dont like vibration or heat. Grunterhunter. Make sure you you mount it away from the motor. You are better off with a oil filled GT40 coil as they cool heaps better. Coops
Its normaly leads that causes it. The leads will need to arcing out for this to happen. Check under the bonnett in a dark place to see if the leads are arcing out. Coops
I use Z386. They are toyota 4 cylinder. The genuine toyota oil filters have better paper in them & is folded in a way that they have more paper. They have a better 1 way valve also. I put one un a claged 3y 4 cylinder i had in my hilux & the oil light went off almost straight away. They are a better filter than any ryco or genuine nissan. I have seen proof at the toyota training centre. Coops
I have just started running club sprints over the last 3 months. I run a 1200 with a A14. I am in the under 1499cc class. Its a very competative class. There are only about 4 or so cars in my class at each meet but but all our lap times are about 2 seconds apart. Its a great class & every one gets along well beacuse we all run so close. Also an A series at 8000rpm with twin webers sounds awsome. Coops
