B120 dat is right the bosch dizzy off a series 2 bluebird is the way to go. They deliver great spark the modules are very cheap & any dizzy bloke will bable to fix it for you & quickly. If you get a normal a serie dizzy you still have to recurve it to your cam when they do that they will tell you that it needs rebushing so there is a rebuild so go the bosch you will find its not much it will cost about the same money.
Do the maths.

Hey Phunk thats exactly what we did. Two teflon squars on each skirt.
And get this for rough.
If the motor rattled for more than 2 minutes then holden would replace the pistons. If the motor had done under 30000km holden said not to mesure them. And wait for it.
The service manager said if the pistons are tight going in then hit them harder.
They were all done in car & we wern't alowed to replace th bearings.

I have heard that you can but there is one bolt hole differant. I looked in to putting an a15et in my coupe but you then face a dizzy problem you will either have to put the dizzy through the fire wall, make up a right angle for the dizzy or put on a crank angle sencor with differant engine managment.

The new Alloy Tech out of a new commodore there will be no probs with a gearbox & there might even be a six speed available for one. Give it about 12 months you will beable to get one for a reasonable price.
