NOW SOLD..

1971 1200 sedan, original a12, automatic, drum brakes allround, 12"wheels with original hubcaps, only mods that have been done are - it has a remote immobiliser and has a hole cut in dash for a head unit, but this has been removed and has a ute block off plate fitted(see pics).original number plates.

the body is pretty neat, it has the straightest original bonnet and boot i have ever seen.all the doors, roof and gaurds are also very straight. it has been resprayed at some stage and paint stil comes up great, has a very small section of rust on the drivers rearwheel arch(RUST HAS BEEN REPAIRED FOR REGO)., which is the only rust in whole car(see pics). also has a slight dent near passenger tail light which has slightly cracked the paint(see pics). over all with these two sections fixed it would be one of the striaghtest 1200 around.

Dash is uncracked but has a small damaged section below the glovebox(see pics). it has 1200 coupe front seats, as they are reclinable, but they are torn. rear seat is torn along the top but seat cover cover this, door trims are in good condition.also has a rear venetian. previous owner disconnected the heater for unknown reason but can supply a heater core with car.

i bought this off the one family owner last sep. the previous owner looked after it very well. they had the motor recod, brakes all replaced with new wheel cylinders and brake shoes, rear springs have been reset as they where saging, new rear bushes, new shocks,(handles very well and brakes better then my coupe).

im not sure of the proper name, i think the sticker still may be on the radiator support on mine, its the same colour as the sedan that is on the cover of the 1200 service manual. im sure some one here knows the proper colour name? Open in new window

well i should definatly be there depending on if there is any racing on that day or not.. what time do they all expect to arrive at the pieshop??? as i will be headin across from the sth coast(nowra/kangaroo valley/mossvale way)and do they plain on being there long??? Now the only decision i will have to make is which car to take...coupe or sedan??????? Is there any one else heading over from teh sthcoast area???
