It could be something touching the body. I installed a 5 speed in a 1200 once and the breather tube on the top of the gearbox was just touching the tunnel and it made a real racket. I almost took the box back as it sounded like it had a major internal problem.

yes im quite aware of the classifieds section and if it doesnt sell on ebay it will be put in the classifieds section. ive just notices a lot of 1200/120y selling pretty well on there so i thought that i would try there first.

if its the alternator wouldnt the dash charge light come on? Thats what happened to mine when the earth connection came off the alternator which then killed my it

both of race cars have been lightened our motorkana/ kanacross car has no interior only 2 front seats and a roll cage it doesnt even have a dash and they both have perspect windows except for the front one but i wouldnt have a clue to wat they weigh.
