the word is eccentric shaft, and the 20B is only small potatoes compared to the "big block" 26B, but unfortuantely, there are not produced and are very hard to make even in a rotary workshop.
rotaries also use a lot of oil, like when you fill up, 100ml of two-stroke oil in with the gasoline per every 20 litres.

yes it is a patent issue with the product of the wankel rotary engine, but their rights to that patent is running out soon so who knows what will be next.

to put a rotary into a 1200, would involve a new crossmember, a new gearbox tunnel, new gearbox cross member and thats pretty mcuh it, other than all the other things realated to rotaries of corse.

my 12A runs 14.6 1/4 mile times thats N/A with standard card, but superchager coming soon that will bump it up to 350hp ish, so should be fun :)

standard port on a 12A makes 130hp at the flywheel with a good carb exhausts etup.

mild ports around 200hp is available.

extend ports 220hp is achieveable.

bridgeports 260hp.

jay ports 300hp but this reduces engine life as the water galleries get in the way of the porting and get blocked up.

peripheral ports has potential for over 300hp but acheives its power above 8000rpm, and wont idle under 2000rpm. but again engine life is dramtically reduced.

well having just brought a rotory engined car i would have to say, YES do it, they are awesome engines, the only main differance withe 12A and 13B is that the 12A revs higher but the 13B creates more power/torque.

go the 12A bridgeport it, rejett the nikki 4barrell carb and youll be away laffing.
