Ok, mdh71 has the only bid in at the moment.
I'd like it sold by the end of the weekend.

Lets see if this works: this should link to a photo
http://datsun1200.com/modules/myalbum/photo.php?lid=26611

If it doesn't work, just do a member search my name "qik1000" and you will see the photo listed.

Hi guys
I have an A15 for sale. I have run this engine some time ago but removed it because it was very smokey. It needs a rebuild. No manifolds, carb or alternator otherwise its all there.
Pickup from East Maitland NSW.
Make an offer (but not a ridiculous one).
Daniel.

Hi Daniel (& Tom),
Good to hear. Nice photos too. I'm interested to know how different it feels now compared to when you sold it. I've no idea what has changed since then apart from getting older and the things we changed ourselves.

The new rubber should've made a big difference. From memory, the 14's on the car were 2007 or 2008 vintage.
Are there any new movies?
DC.

Hi Jmac,

I have a complete (or very nearly) A15 and a really good short A14 coming up for sale in the very near future. I just need to get me trailer back from my brother and go pick them up from storage and then I'll advertise them.

Daniel

I have used ACL Mazda E3 pistons with success.
You'll need to bore the rod little end to 20mm (easy job for an engine machine shop), then deck the block to suit the piston height which is a little under the Datsun piston height. I selected to use chrome rings not the standard cast iron rings.

If that is too much compression then you can select the Mazda E5 or the 1.6L MX5 pistons which both have a small dish, I think around 6cc from memory. lots of options...

Hello Danny & Tom,
Great to see the ol' girl in action again.

FYI: I watched the youtube videos. For what is worth, it sounds exactly the same to my ear with your engine in it. Also, that's a very interesting comparison with the Aussie Car. I had been curious to see the difference between the super-light AC with motor bike engine and sequential close ratio box, versus the 1000. Interesting...

BTW Mick still has a 1200 coupe with my new race-prepped A15 in it that was in my road car at the time you saw it. We should get a bunch of datsuns back on the track.

"Or do you want to buy it back again after we're finished with it" - Sorry Paul. We got dibs on that!! Its in the contract...

Daniel.

Well, just about everything is sold, although I have just found another complete A15?!?! Also, the pair of twin 1.5" SU's on an oval port manifold that can be seen in my KB10 road car ad is also for sale now on behalf of my friend who owns them.

Lagwagon, You're up to $20 plus postage for your little bundle. I'll Pm you my bank details.
