I think datsun 1200 or 1600 mounts have the same rubber and studs, however are missing the little bit of steel on the underside that gives the mount it's tilt. You can buy new mounts to suit the above and weld on some newly fabricated angles. It shouldn't be hard for someone who is handy with steelwork.

Very interesting comments!! My father is into this type of stuff. I might plant a seed in his mind to see what he might come up with. I'd would be nice to travel back there next time with some timing gear and say "here you go!!" and give it to the club for nix.

YAHOOO - What a great weekend!
Mt Panorama lived up to all my expectations! And there was almost as much fun off the track as on the track. It was great to meet a few new faces from this website; Ayden, Kurt, Andrew, Paul and Simon. Although it was a shame to miss Benny and Harry - Where were you guys?? Chris Peterson and Aiden were a no show but Jeff rocked up for sunday's mountain straight hillclimb. It was sooo worth the effort and money to make the trip there. I'll be making an effort for april's esses decent weekend for sure!

haha!! You're not talking about panadol...are you ?? I'm pretty sure I'll be there. I'll actually make a huge sacrifice and take the entire week off work jsut to be sure!!

It would be a pretty serious illness that keeps me away from my first Mt Panarama event.

Well, the car's ready and we're really looking forward to our first Mt Panorama event. Unfortunately, its the same typical @%#$# story - cars ready, organised work around the weekend, paid everything, bought new tyres as the old ones were haggered, even managed a few improvements to the front end...and NOW I've come down sick.

Oh, well...its only tuesday. I might still make it yet!!
