Maztec, I think the 2-door sedan is 650kg, but never known a figure for a coupe. I've got a stock 1000 coupe so I should weigh it next time I'm at eastern creek.
Ummm...nice car! Is it yours ?? haha

Go for it! Supersprints are a great place to start. They're cheap, common and you don't NEED to be quick.
You'll need a CAMS licence. Visit their website. Fill in a form and pay the $80 bucks or so and you're good. Then you need head-to-ankle-to-wrist cotton clothing, (Some guys just wear jeans and long sleeve cotton shirt), enlosed non-nylon shoes (dunlop volleys from K-mart ok) and a CAMS approved helmet (start at $90). Um.. fire extinguisher might be mandatory too??!!
The supersprint will cost you about $175 for the day and is mostly insurance and track hire fees.
Contact your local track and ask who the contact is for the next scheduled supersprint.

Just wondering if anybody knows what the number stamped on the head of datsun engine bolts stands for. EG: Typical head bolt has #12 on it.
I'm trying to find a source of alternate bolts which are cheaper and stronger than the original datsun spec. Anyone else got a suggestion??
