Nice night guys, enjoyed metting the faces of the people you hear/read about. Definately have to organise a cruise down the coast one weekend. Was pretty well planned, but just the city lights don't really like datsuns I don't think. It would be a little easier with less lights and a bigger drive(e.g coast) Anyway guys awesome night, nice poeple, nice cars....what else do you need (maybe a little alcohol) but can't always get what we want.....Until next time.....

Well he used to be a racecar engineer, so i would usually listen to what ideas he has. The pic that phunk used is exactly how he explains it. with putting the extra leaf on top will elimate the suspensions being able to make the "curl" in the spring. It will push back down on each end of the spring at the same time, stopping it from bending like it does. Also a set of 90/10 shocks would also help, because these are apparantly soft, making the back sit down and sick and the front lifting up, transferring the weight to the back. So i will give this a good and let you all know how it goes. As for the lowering block, no I don't, the suspension has been reset to the right ride height.

Hey guys, i got told today that a way to stop axel tramp is to get the main leaf out of another dato and put it upside down on top of the other leafs. He says he guarantees that it will never axel tramp again? Has anybody heard of this and if so have they done it and does it work?
Thanks guys

Hey guys, I was just wondering if anybody on here will be going on the Nissan/Datsun cruise on the 6th of November 2005? From what I have read on boostcruising, there is going to be at least 50 cars going. It starts at a few meeting points on the gold coast and then a few more all the way up to Brisbie Island. Bribie is the final destination, with a BBQ and drinks there. If you are coming or would like some more information about the cruise I can help.

We have to get a good turnout, it's not very often you see a big pack of dato's....only really see them in 1's or 2's. Please make an effort to come, it will be an awsome day!

Thanks Daniel

Yeah my brother said it may be a bearing... Well i think thats the right way to go, get a mechanic to look at it and then a replacement. But the only problem is it's a CA18 box, so I don't think $10 will cut it, haha. Thanks dodgeman
