think im gunna have to miss the meet, ive bin seriously crook for the past few days. unless i make a drastic recovery overnite, dont think i'll be see'in ya's  take plenty of pics, hope its a good one

are your talking about expanding foam, or a sound deadening layer of foam/rubber, sounds a bit odd, what was it held in with??

alot of factors come into play colour, quality wanted, full respray with engine out etc all that stuff and then the main one it comes down to, is how keen the panel beater/spray painter actually is on doin the job, alot of em dont really wanna do that sorta work on a "datsun". shop around prices may vary dramatically good luck

cant wait. what happend to the pic's of all the utes lined up, was there any good quality ones, i cant remember seein any, i hope my memory can be refreshed, was good with all the 1200's

a tray-back hilux???? pretty light and a bit bigger than a datto heaps of them out there too. AC Cobra kit car??? 60's - 80's corolla's???
Proton Jumbuck??? (the "new" datsun 1200) FWD but if ure goin to the trouble of a v8, converting to RWD with a tricked out rear end wouldnt be too hard and it wouldnt feel as bad to molest a proton as opposed to a datsun
suzuki capucccino (most suzuki's for that matter ares very light weight)
if u wanted to stick datsun, u got 200b's as well Plenty of light weight vehicles out there

what about a super charger, no lag, just pure grunt, if you dont have to worry about complying to a class for racing, why not a super charger??? how come you dont want to go turbo??? rego?? insurance?? im really keen to see how your project turns out, all the best
