im runnin a silvia box as well. what we did was panel beat the forward part of the tunnel to accomodate the bell housing a little bit of panel beating down the middle of the tunnel and got the shifter section of a tunnel from a silvia to allow the already mentioned huge shifter section, this also means (not that its a big deal) that you get the bolt holes for the gearstick boot to bolt to.

but..... if you want to be able to remove the gearbox without removing the motor the best bet is to get a silvia tunnel and cut out your old one, its not that bigger job to be honest, if i had of investigated it a bit more before doing mine, i would have gone this way

hope that helps u make a decision

jimmy.

i got a ca ute (common as bums) but a mate of mine had a 4agze ute with upgraded supercharger more boost and a few other mods, my ca has WAY more top end and its basically stock.

id be heading the rotor option myself, they make CRAZY power so long as you can get it on the ground (without regulations im sure you could tub it)

id personally not want a rotor but i have alot of respect for em and if your chasin power from small cubes you cant beat em

went and had a look at the archerfield drifts last night, gotta say, its ridiculous. really enjoyed it. went for a ride with a mate of mine and its full on the whole time. for starters its a go-cart track so its VERY tight, he still managed to do an overtake somehow, absolutely amazing. apparently theres a few 120Y's that make a regular appearance but i didnt see em. neone in the club do drift events round brissy??

my old boy has always wanted to chuck a supercharged version into a 1200, heavy and not as much power a ca, but with an auto behind it what a cheap burnout weapon, parts are cheap as. keep us all informed

mate im just goin through the same deal. my T25 seals let go. i'll have it back this week and i can let you know. i went rebuild for the moment cos i dont have time to do any mods

i can tell you that im paying $400 for a full gasket kit.

mines in a shop gettin seals done, but they said that if they found more probs when it was apart id prolly be better off gettin a new turbo.

turbo couldnt have gone at a worse time for me really, too much work, buying a house, just sold my other car
